Terms

Sample terms describing how lending products built on Corentis are presented and how the website may be used. Written in plain English for the Spanish market.

Illustrative demo. These are sample terms for demonstration only and are not legal advice or a contract. Corentis is a technology platform, not a lender. The terms that govern any loan are those of the agreement and the licensed entity operating the product. Entity-specific details are confirmed before launch.

1. Scope

These terms describe the use of this website and the way lending products built on Corentis are presented. They do not themselves grant credit. Any loan is governed by the separate credit agreement entered into with the licensed entity operating the product.

2. Who can apply (eligibility)

Eligibility depends on the specific product and the operating entity's policy, and typically requires that you are of legal age, resident as required, and able to pass identity and creditworthiness checks. Exact eligibility criteria are confirmed by the operating entity before launch.

3. An application is not an offer of credit

Submitting an application does not create any obligation to lend and is not an offer of credit. An offer, if any, is made only after a creditworthiness assessment, and approval is never guaranteed.

4. Creditworthiness assessment

Before any offer, the operating entity assesses affordability and repayment capacity using the information you provide and consented external sources such as credit bureaus. Credit is subject to this assessment and is not risk-free.

5. Pre-contractual information and the agreement

Where credit is offered, you receive the required pre-contractual information before signing, so you can consider the terms. The binding terms are those set out in the credit agreement you enter into.

6. Fees, interest and total cost

The cost of credit — including the nominal interest rate (TIN), the annual percentage rate (TAE), any fees, the total cost of credit and the total amount payable — is disclosed before you commit. See the pricing page for a representative example; the figures that apply to you are those in your individual agreement.

7. Right of withdrawal

For consumer credit you generally have 14 calendar days to withdraw from the agreement without giving a reason, repaying the principal plus accrued interest as disclosed. The exact statutory period for the applicable product is confirmed before launch.

8. Early repayment

You may repay early, in full or in part, at any time. Any early-repayment compensation is applied within legal limits and disclosed up front in the pre-contractual information.

9. Late payment and consequences

If you miss payments, late-payment interest and any costs may apply as set out in the agreement, the debt may be reported to credit bureaus, and recovery action may follow. If you face difficulty, support is available — contact the operating entity as early as possible.

10. Use of the website

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, or use it to submit false or misleading information.

11. Intellectual property

The website, its content, design and trademarks are protected by intellectual-property rights and may not be copied or reused without permission, except as allowed by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided "as is" for information. Illustrative figures and examples do not constitute advice, and no liability is accepted for decisions taken solely on the basis of demo content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Spain, with disputes subject to the competent Spanish courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights. Governing law and jurisdiction are confirmed with counsel before launch.

14. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is the one published on this page, with its "last updated" date. Material changes affecting an existing agreement are communicated as required by law.
